This review is extremely overdue because I have to admit I’ve been using this perfume since I was a young teenager so it’s very nostalgic! I’m not going to write a super lengthy intro just know that this is a wonderful scent and there’s a reason I still love it here’s my thoughts. Starting with the packaging, this comes in a pink box with white writing and the bottle is quite simplistic with a pink gradient which I really like. Of course this comes in different sizes however, I have the 30ml which retails for £29.00 (unless you seek out budget friendly websites that have discounts on this.)
In terms of scent I would describe this as a fruity floral. I’m not typically a fan of a lot of floral scents but this is quite light and fresh smelling, the notes are as follows:
Top Notes: Coriander Leaves, Blood Oranges and Cardamon. Middle Notes: Jasmine, Violet Leaves and Carrot Seed. Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musk.
What I like about this is that it initially smells quite fruity but then when it dries down it becomes warmer and sweeter. The violet adds a slight powdery scent to it without making the scent too dated, I think the punchier notes like blood oranges lift this up and keep it fresh and fruity.
The longevity of this is quite good, of course I don’t always smell scent on myself but the day after I can always smell this lingering on my clothes. What I also like about this is that it’s a scent that can be worn by many, both myself and my nan like this and it smells nice on us both!
Overall, this is a scent that has withstood the test of time and I really do like it, I would repurchase this and I would happily recommend this to those who love fruity/floral scents or people who want to try a floral scent but aren’t sure where to start.
The Lacoste Touch of Pink EDT is available here for £29.00 for 30ml.
